start with, if I have to draw a cat with an oval shaped body and three
legs.

I start off drawing the biggest
visible shapes, without worrying too much about the details.
I relate some dimensions with others and I
concentrate on the gaps as much as the fuller areas ( for
example, the gap between the two front paws).
