Pay
special attention to the angles, othe way the lines incline, and try
to relate some proportions with others, taking continuos measurements,
comparing the distances between each line. This is a useful exercise,
and I recommend you carry it out frequently.
You
can draw the negative spaces of a piece of furniture with long legs,
with lights and shadows reflecting on the floor, you can draw the
branches of a tree, the gaps between a flower arrangement..... there
are so many different possibilities.
