Fill
in the pot with soil which is rich in organic matter.
Flatten
down the soil, trying to leave a flat surface.
Then, add
a small amount of fertilizer to the plant, preferably granulated,
as this will ensure the plant receives the fertilizer gradually and
there is less risk of burning the plant.
Place the
fertilizer around the edge of the pot.
Remember
you should use granulated fertilizers every 30 days and when using
them you should apply a lot of water. If using liquid fertilizers
you should use them once every 15 or 20 days.
