INTRODUCCION

¡Patience is a virtue!

This is the main rule you need to follow if you wish to start in the world of making models. Building and painting a figure, a tank, an aeroplane or a boat, and getting the end result that you want, is the result of using a mixture of different techniques, all of which I will explain to you in this course. You will need to be patient.

Don't expect the first figure that you paint to look like a real German soldier walking in the streets of Stalingrad or in the battle of Berlin. This is obtained through a learning process which takes time and patience. Probably the first figure that you paint, if you don't know the techniques, will look like a doll: without life. It's face won't have any expression, it's uniform will look flat, etc.

And we ask ourselves: How do people paint the figures that we see in magazines and in exhibitions? It is not that complicated, go to the next lesson and I will show you.
