As
I have previously mentioned, you need to check that the pieces fit
perfectly together. On some ocassions you will find gaps between the
pieces which you have to fill in before you start painting. This process
is called puttying.
To
do this we need to find the gaps that we need to fill. With pieces
of masking tape try and cover the figure, leaving the gaps that we
need to fill in.

Get
a tooth pick and push the Putty into the gaps. The tape will prevent
the putty sticking to other parts.

Once
the putty is dry, take off the masking tape, you will see that the
putty has given a positive result and filled in the gaps.
