THE CAMOUFLAGE (2)

 

Here you can see how our Stuka is looking. You can see the camouflage colours and the panel lines (they are very subtle, they don't stand out too much).

 

As our aeroplane fought in North Africa, it had a lot of desert yellow camoulage patches (XF-59).

If we want our plane to appear older (dirty through use or through wear and tear) we will give it this look now, before we go on to varnish it. This all depends on what you would like to do, I particularly don't like old looking planes, although I do like tanks given an old feel to them. In another course I will explain to you the techniques for ageing material.
