We have
chosen the German Stuka plane. This bomber plane fought in the Second
World War, on all fronts, from the start until the end of the war.
It was a slow plane that created panic amongst enemy troops when it
nosedived. As it fell the sound created was unique. It was predominantly
used as a nosediving bomber plane and as a plane that hunted tanks.
It is very easy to find out information about this plane.
The model
we are using is the Ju87-D made by Hasegawa in the scale 1:32. It's
a good mould, with extremely high quality detailing. As I said in
the introduction, the scale 1:32 is the biggest, but we have chosen
it so that we don't miss any details in the making and painting of
it.
