THE WINDOWS (3)

When finishing off the windows be careful not to glue the windows to the fuselage. When we glue the windows it is important to use special glue for wood and not ordinary glue (nor the glue that is designed for model aeroplanes). The glue will take a long time to dry but once it's dry you will not notice it and we can unstick the window if we see that there are any problems.

However, please bear in mind that the glues give out gases that make the glass transparent (this can ruin our work, as it doesn't have a solution) and besides if a drop falls or a small amount of glue falls onto the glass the situation can be quite complicated. So please try and make sure this does not happen. On the other hand, the cianocrylic glues dry quickly and strongly, that is why we try not to use them as if we make a mistake the situation is irreversible.

Remember which glue to use:

Get a tooth pick and add a small amount of glue to it and add the glue to the boarders of the fuselage where we are going to glue the windows. Then situate the windows on the boarders, pushing down gently and then leave it to stick and dry.
