THE FINAL VARNISH

To finish off our model aeroplane we are going to add another coat of varnish. Mix turpentine and satin or shiny varnish (50/50) and spray it on with the spray gun.

Doing it this way we ensure that:

- The stains that appeared when we glued the transfers disappear.

- We unify the paint tones.

- Isolated shiny parts created by the transfers disappear.

- We protect the future of the model (the colours and the stickers)

If you would like ton once it is dry, (at least one day) you can add a coat of matte varnish (this will eliminate the shine). However, I personally like the shiny look.
