Paint each element of the drawing relating it to the others.

For example, with this toy frog its eye is in line with the end of its foot. Look out for these types of associations. .

When everything fits in well, you can amuse yourself by painting some detail, but never before.

Try to practice as much as possible, with all types of accessories. There is no other way to learn, other than practice, you have to start training your eye until you can instinctively capture the proportions.
