Once I have painted using the grisalla technique and worked out the values of the objects in the painting, I can start painting.

In this phase work quickly and don't concentrate on the details.

I have chosen a sky-blue tone for the background because the predominant colour in this bunch of flowers is yellow, this way the flowers will stand out and appear to stand out against the background of the painting.
