The palette

Another essential utensil is a palette.

Find one which is the most comfortable for you referring to form and size.

Hold it resting on your arm, with your thumb appearing though the hole.

The most common ones are shaped like a kidney or are rectangular.

If you want to keep it clean you will have to scrape the surface with a spatula when you finish painting.

You put the colours around the boarder and you leave the centre free to mix the paints.

It is very convenient to use the palettes that you can use and throw-away, they take away that trying moment when you have to clean the dry and incrusted paint.

These are rolls of waterproof paper that you throw away after using.
