Cadiz Carnival
Cádiz
is a small city in the south of Spain. Its carnival is enormous. In
fact, it is catergorized as "International Interest", This
carnival is different, it doesn't have shows or samba and the people
don't wear face masks. In Cadiz, these ingredients are substituted
by the people of Cadiz's talent, fun and art. It is a carnival about
freedom, where the whole city goes to the streets for a whole week
to have a good time and enjoy themselves. It is impossible to copy.
The talent of the people of Cadiz is known everywhere. During the
Cadiz Carnival, which takes place in February, the city quadruple's
its population. However, during the whole year there is a carnaval
in Cadiz: Cadiz is the party city.
The streets
are full of people during the day and night. People are singing all
the time, anywhere, from the early morning to the next day. There
is an admirable show, authentic artists that don't act in theatres,
but act in this street show which are liberating and completely free.
The Cadiz
Carnaval, the freedom party, the real party where the people of Cadiez
laugh about their own problems for a whole week. During the party
criticisim is relentless: politics, celebrities, the church, sport....pure
irony which tells the true feelings of the people of Cadiz, their
happiness, allergies and sadness.

I believe
that the carnival is a VRIO resource for the people of Cadiz because
of ther benefits that it brings as a consequence. Its inventiveness,
fun, the way people enjoy themselves despite their shortages. All
of this constitutes to a competitive advantage against other cities
that compete in the touristic sector. Here are the reasons:

a lot of power, which translates into talent and economic benefits
for the whole city.

of the carnival are unique. There are many carnivals in the world,
but none like the one in Cadiz, which is different, which in turn
