20. PHYSICAL TECHNIQUES FOR MASSAGES USING ESSENTIAL OILS.

A lymphatic drain is a massage specialty that act directly over the lymphatic system. This system is responsible for eliminating toxins and increasing the immunity response of the organism.

Massages help tone the body, eliminate stress and regain skin softness.

Every type of massage and technique helps relax the body. In our specific case, when we combine essential oils with massages, we enhances their effectiveness. Massages are introduced to our body through our skin. Blood transport them through our organism and then they are eliminated through transpiration and urine.

Massages combined with essential oil properties constitute a complete and true holistic therapy.

PRACTICAL PIECES OF ADVICE:

1) Run an allergies test before using oils.
2) If you suffer from epilepsy, ask your doctor before using them.
3) Do not apply PURE essential oils over your skin.
4) Essential oils must be diluted with other oils called "vessels or base".
PROPORTION: For every 50ml of base oil, use 10ml of essential oil.
5) The vessel or base must be chosen according to the type of your skin.
Sunflower seed oil is ideal for body massages.
6) Do not touch your eyes after massages.
7) If you have used citric essences, do not expose yourself to the sun after your massage.
