Types of Cameras
2) Medium format cameras:
B- Single lens reflex: Some come in the shape of a box, such as Hasselblad cameras, while others look more like 35mm cameras. Box cameras are great because they are modular: they are composed by different parts added to the box, such as the lens, viewing window, film holder, etc. Everything is changeable. Many of these cameras use a central shutter (found in the lens), which makes them more expensive. The image you see is formed over a glass found on the upper part of the camera. The image you see is seen from left to right, unless we use a prism to correct that. We can change the film chassis (back). This is useful because it allows us to change a film roll without having finished the previous one. There is also a chassis to use Polaroid films and there is also a digital chassis.
Those that look like 35mm cameras are cheaper than modular cameras. their greatest advantage is that, once calibrated, it works in the same way with all lenses. The absence of a shutter in their lens makes them cheaper. Moreover, since they are similar in structure to reflex 35mm cameras, they are easier to handle.
