The Graph of Gantt

Henry Laurence Gantt (1861-1919) developed this graphical method of planning and control in the beginning of the XX century. It allows us to contemplate the initial and final phases of the different activities.

It is also called chronograph of activities or calendaring. It is a bars graphic, where the length of each bar represents duration in days, weeks, months, or years of an activity. The usefulness of of this graphic lies in the fact that it points out the frequency in which a certain number of activities must be executed based in the duration of each one of them.

For a better understanding, we give you The Graph of Gantt which provides the time and activities to carry out a market investigation. It is divided in three phases and developed in four months.
