shading. We can add movement to the petals by enhancing the shadows.
Here
you can see the result. You can decide whether you need to continue
shading or not or if you have forgotten to shade somewhere.
Now
lets start smudging. Doing this we are going to mix some of the lines
that we have given different tones. Look at what I am doing in this
photo.

the base of the petals. Here you can see clearly the centre of the
flower once it has been smudged.
