Break
the sanguine block into pieces. This way we will have lots of pieces of
different lengths. They will also be more manageable.
The
thickness of the paper is important for the drawing. The paper will
affect the end result (see the photo below).
The original sanguine is supposed to be reddish, although now you can buy a darker tone ( see the photo below)
