At
art school they teach you to start drawing using as for a model a smooth
ball of wood. The most similar thing that you have in your house is
probably an orange. That's why for this lesson we are going to use an
orange as our model.
Place
it on a straight, white surface and for the background we will use another
straight, white surface. You can easily use two pieces of white paper.
Let's start to draw the orange.
Start
by getting a small piece of charcoal and a piece of paper.
Draw
a circle, make it look like the shape of an orange. If on your first
attempt it does not look even, then get a piece of paper and practise
drawing lots of circles until you can do it, then you can draw on your
paper.
Then,
add a small cross to the upper part of the orange, a little to the right,
now we have drawn our first orange, but it is even, let's give it some
volume.
