MATERIALS
quadrille fabric
Embroidery threads in orange and black
sewing needle
Scissors
We will pull the needle with the black thread out through the front of the fabric.
we make some basting stitches sliding the needle between the weave of the fabric
between stitch and stitch, we will leave one space
we make several basting stitches until we get the desired length. In this example, we have made 8 stitches.
We count 10 squares down and at the same place where we began the previous embroidery, we will pull the needle out and begin the embroidery making the same number of stitches
As always, we slide the needle between the weave of the fabric until we finish the row
we secure the thread at the back of the fabric and we cut it
