This border is made up of 5 rows; each in a different colour. We make the first row with a green thread, pulling the needle out through the front of the fabric. We slide it through the weave of the fabric, counting 2 spaces between the stitches and using 2 spaces for each stitch.
We continue sliding the needle through the weave of the fabric until we finish embroidering the first row
We have finished the first row with 8 stitches
we secure the thread at the back of the fabric and we cut it
We will make the second row with green thread, we run 1 space to the left, over the base of the first row. This is where we will pull the needle out.
Remember to leave 2 spaces between one stitch and the next and that the stitch should be 2 spaces long. We continue embroidering until we finish the second row
Notice the way the stitch is beginning to look escalated.
