By using different colours, we will try to form a gradient from the darkest colour to the lighter one.
With this design, we will teach you how to make a border with running stitch with a perfect gradient.
WE will use the same type of stitch we have used so far.
MATERIALS
Aida fabric
Threads in dark brown, light brown, light orange, intense orange, light yellow and intense yellow
Sewing needle
scissors
We will begin with 6 basting stitches with the darkest colour (dark brown)
WE will make 4 bars going up and the 4 bars going down. Then, we make 10 basting stitches
We will make another 4 bars going up and the 4 bars going down.
Over these bars, we will make the same number of bars using the light brown thread.
WE follow this procedure on the next bars
Notice that we have made 2 turns with the light brown thread
