PAINTING FLOWERS DIRECTLY ON THE FABRIC
12. FANS OF CARVED SEGMENTS (2)
This type of fan is more difficult because we will paint directly over the fabric (not like the previous one where we traced the picture). We hold the fan down with our hand or we can use pins or small nails as we explained previously.
We clean our brushes well. Make sure there isn't any paint left.
We begin painting on the sides. We colour the stems in a light green so we can later darken the lower portion of the leaf with a darker tone.
We paint the left side and the right side at the same time to keep the drawing parallel.
With four small strokes and some small touches we will make a little flower.
With a darker tone of red, we will add shadow to one side of the petals. I will add some yellow and brown dot in the middle.
