Another option to add volume to pictures is to work with different tones of the same colour. You will see this on this flower.
Here, you can see that turquoise becomes lighter with white, and darker with navy blue.
We can use any transparent container as a palette to mix colours. For example, I have chosen a carton of eggs (plastic).
As in the previous lesson (with green and ochre), we now add volume with different tones of blue. We also bring out some areas with the darker colour.
