Types of Flash
Before learning how to use the flash, we must know and understand the different types of flash on the market. Let's see the 3 basic classifications and some of its accessories.
1-Built-in flash
Built-in flash is one who comes in when we bought the camera. It is a small flash, low power, which usually activates in low lighting.
The photometer measures the light chamber, and when the camera considers that light is not enough, the flash fires.
In the picture above we can see the flash of a compact camera (in the green box). In the compact camera flash is usually at the front thereof.
In SLR cameras, both the SRL and the DSRL, the flash is above the camera (pop-up system). Here we see a picture of a digital SLR camera when the flash is ready for use (green box).
Although there are some functions that we will see later, allowing us to control the flash, it has many limitations when taking pictures.
