Present Simple (Verbs from group 3)


  • The verbs from the third group are irreigular verbs and their conjugation is different. Only with use will you know how to conjugate them. These verbs can have the following endings:

  • Endings - ir - oir - re


  • They form part of the same group with verbs that end in "-ir"but they don't belong to the 2nd group as they don't following the same conjugation rules.

  • Within every sub-group, the verbs can have different conjugations. For example, below you will find various verbs that end in "-ir":

  • You can see how these verbs have different endings, although with certain similarities.


  • Something similar happens with verbs that end in "-oir" and in "-re":
