  • In this lesson, we are going to revise the days and months of the year and the prepositions that usually accompany them.


  • Starting with the days of the week:


  • Montag

    Monday

    Sonntag Sunday


  • In German, the days of the week are masculine and can be accompanied by different prepositions. The most common preposition is"Am" (abreviation of the preposition is "a" and the definite article in the dative case is "dem").


  • Am Montag fahre ich nach Paris On Monday I'm going to Paris
    Am Mittwoch habe ich einen Termin On Wednesday I have a date
    Am Samstag ist er gekommen On Saturday he came


  • The months of the year are the following:

    Dezember December
