Lesson 14ª

Undo History Tab

In this lesson, we will learn the use of the Undo History Tab since it is one of the most common Gimp tools.

For better understanding, we will use the Brush. This Tool can be configured in different ways, which is why we will explain its use later. For now, let's focus on the Undo History Tab.

We will use our blank document 'course' or you can create a new one. Select the brush and add 5 lines to the document.

If you notice the Undo History, you will see that with every new stroke, a new History action has been created.

As in many programs, we can undo our work by combining the keys CTRL and Z. Below the History, we find the symbols for Undo and Redo, which take us to a specific point in our progress.

We can also go to a specific point in our work by selecting an action in the History. Once we select it, we can perform a new action.

Once we have done this, the other actions will be eliminated and history will proceed from this point on.
