Another option we have to work with colours is the function Colorize. We choose this function from the Colours Menu.
This is a special function since we can change the colour of the entire photograph. Is is often used as a background for designs given its uniformity and easy use. The effect called sephia is also well-known. To achieve it, we need to use the scroll button for Hue and find the range we want.
The Saturation controls also allow us different variations of colours; from the maximum saturation of the colour until the loss of that colour itself and turn it into black and white.
On the other hand, there is a control for Lightness, which ranges from total brightness to total darkness.
