GORILLA, GIRAFFE, ELEPHANT
OBJECTIVES.- Create a good group atmosphere.
NECESSARY MATERIALS.- Nothing
AGE.- Any age. However as it is quite a childish game, it is fun to play with adults.
HOW
THE GAME DEVELOPS.- The whole group should sit in a circle, except one
person who should sit in the middle, face to face with the rest of the
group. The person in the middle should shout out either GORILLA,
GIRAFFE or ELEPHANT to one particular person. The choosen person and
his colleagues onn his right and left hand side have to imitate this
animal. The person that fails to do this or who is the slowest then has
to move to the middle and repeat the process. So how should you imitate
these animals?
ELEPHANT.-
The person in the middle represents the elephants face and has to place
his arms on his face to symbolize the trunk and make the noise of an
elephant. The person to his left has to lean to the right until he gets
to the elephants face as if he were the elephants ear. the person on
the right does the same but in the opposite direction.
GIRAFFE.-
The person in the centre remains standing symbolizing the giraffe's
head, he can put make the giraffe's ears by using his fingers. The
people to his left and right can crouch down and represent the
giraffe's body.
