DYNAMICS OF COMMUNICATION
14.a)
I SEE THROUGH YOUR EYES, I
DRAW WHAT YOU TELL ME
OBJECTIVE.- Improve communication and understanding between
the group's members.
MATERIALS NEEDED - Paper and pencils (a pencil for each
member of the group). It would be a good idea to have something for the group
members to lean on when they draw.
AGE- Any
HOW TO DEVELOP TASK - The presenter will give a pattern to
one of the group's members (like the one shown in the following photos). The
group member will then turn his back on the group and will explain the
composition of the geometric shapes as they appear on the pattern. He will have
to explain each shape in great detail in order for his colleagues to
understand. Once all of the colleagues have completed the drawing correctly,
another member will be given a new pattern and will have to explain it to the
rest of the group.
VARIANTS.- The presenter can prepare as many patterns as he
likes. Another variant can be done by giving the members cardboard of card to
create the shapes described.
THINGS TO CONSIDER - The option of replicating the shapes
with card is ideal for groups with children. Make sure the game doesn't go on
for too long.
