Lesson 11ª

The eye brows.

The eye brows are very important elements which need to be worked on to highlight the look. It is not enough for them to be plucked or waxed; we need to fix them and bring them out with makeup. Thus, we will begin with the eye brows in the process of working the area of the eyes.

The first we need to know is recognizing the 3 key points of the eye brow: where it should begin, where it should form an arch, and where it should finish.

To calculate this, hold a brush or an eye liner vertically. Press it on one side of the nose pointing it to the inner part of the eye. Then, point it to the middle of the eye; and finally, point it to the left portion of the eye (in the case of the image below).

Once we have identified these 3 key points correctly, we need to intensify and modify the eye brows brushing them in the direction of their birth.

You can load the brush with shadows to even the colour out. Make sure you use a colour which is similar to the original tone of the hair, or a slightly lighter tone.

That's it! Now, the eye brows are ready and we can concentrate on the eyes.

Tip: we can use a small brush to do the task of accommodating the eye brows before we begin the makeup.
