The first image represents anger or disgust. In anger, eye brows are bent diagonally, dropping to the centre (middle) and raised on the outer end. A twisted mouth shows her teeth grinding.
The other images represent surprise. If it is a slight surprise, the mouth is slightly closed forming a small "O". The eyes are wide open with a small pupil centred in the middle.
And, this is very important, the eye brows are in the form of an arch and bent upwards.
If the character is more surprised or scared, the mouth is drawn open to scream.
