Perspective

In this picture you can see the perspective used to achieve depth in the image.

The 2 lines of the sidewalk (which actually are parallel) are coming together more and we imagine that we even meet.

Trees also help give a sense of perspective. The front looks bigger than before.

To make this picture used a wide angle lens, 28mm, to accentuate the feeling of three dimensions. Remember that wide angle lenses are separate plans and greater sense of depth ..

This picture was also made with a wide angle. So the fence seems eternal and buildings in the background seem far away.

The reality is that there are so far this is 1 block, but by using the perspective of the grate plus the use of wide angle, accentuate the feeling that the picture has 3 dimensions.
