Fill the frame

Fill the frame means that the object or subject you are photographing fills most or all of the photo. This avoids the appearance of other elements that may distract attention from the object. Thus we get the person looking at the picture and see only watch what we want to show.
To do this we need to approach the object physically or otherwise, use a longer focal length lens.

In this picture I used a 70mm lens on digital, and was quite close to the model. The photo was made in studio flash lighting and use a white infinity background.

In this case there was at bottom nothing to distract from the model but, as I wanted to show the expressions of it, fill the frame with the face so that it could see every detail.

This is another example of the same photo shoot where the important thing was to show the expressions of the model. It was also made ​​with a 70mm lens in digital close range.
