COMPOSITION
What is the composition of an image? How we talk about when we mention the word composition in photography? Composition (or compose a photo) is consciously organize the elements of an image to achieve harmony and balance in that image. There are many rules of composition, not only are used in photography, but in all forms of visual art: painting, sculpture, etc..
When man makes a picture look a certain way and in a certain order. As photographers, professional or amateur, we need to know how the mechanisms to make an image that highlights what we show, to convey the feelings or sensations that want to transmit.
The rules of composition are important when taking pictures but I firmly believe that should be used as a guide and not as something one is obligated to do to get good pictures. There are photographers around the world who break these rules thus achieving consistently exceptional images. But:'' for breaking the rules is that, first, to see them!''.
Knowing the different rules of composition gives the photographer a base that is very important to start analyzing what you want to achieve. It also will allow you to analyze your own photos to see what works in one image and not, thus improving their production photos.
Once we study, know and practice the rules of composition, then we can begin to break them if we feel that is best for our image. This definitely is what artists call'' personal style''.
The Photographer has many tools to control and create an image that can convey any emotion to people who look at the picture. Let's see the most important tools that a photographer can use.
