Lesson 6ª

Shooting Angle

The shooting angle is where we get the picture: from above or from below? Are we going to do a wall or at ground level?

To decide how best to photograph the scene we have to move around it, walk away and closer, up or down until you find the best angle or point of view from which to draw the picture. Sometimes taking a step to one side can make all the difference in a photo. Different angles will be taken at different compositions which may be good, good or bad.

Obviously changing the shooting angle also changes the frame. These concepts, in fact, are closely linked, and the move to find the right angle, we must also think about how we frame from that point of view.

Most people have to take a picture, in principle, instinct (to call it something) to stand in front of the scene or object to be photographed to take the first picture. Why? Because that's how we normally see in real life.

Changing the angle of making means to display an object of one form or from a viewpoint which most people are not used. Is to change the perspective to make a photo more interesting and innovative.

This of course does not mean you can take pictures at the front. There are incredible pictures that are made from the front. But it is good to experiment with each photo in order to achieve something completely different and interesting for those who go to see the photo.
