Graphic Control

Control Through Graphics:

These graphs can also be called SPC (Statistical Process Control) cards . Through them, we gather production data by means of random sampling and its findings are written down in the SPC card. Afterwards, a graphic will be made based in predetermined values such as frequency, average, and standard deviation. If the resulting curves traced over this data base is not within the tolerance boundaries, it is necessary to act upon the process to correct it so in the next sample, the curve remains inside tolerance limits.

Each one of these seven tools is in itself of great value for the enterprise and its search for constant improvement. However, an additional usefulness is obtained when they are used in a combined and coordinated manner. Unfortunately, these tools are no longer sufficient since they are limited to measuring quantifiable aspects in a total quality integrated system. To describe a complex reality, quality aspects are also necessary. With the purpose of improving this, seven new tools of quality have been developed. These are linked and integrated for a better measuring of reality.
