Reserve. We do this technique with a piece of masking tape. First, we place the tape. We paint. We wait for the watercolour to dry up completely and then we carefuly lift the tape.
There are also some special liquids that help us reserve spots we want to keep colourless. They work in the same way. We first paint the area we want to reserve with this liquid. Then, we apply the colour. Once the watercolour is dry, we remove it by rubbing the masking liquid.
