Lesson 19ª

EXAMPLES:

There are three ways of working with watercolours:

The first one is by using flat washes. The result is poor; simple. It can be useful when we want our images to be naive and simple.

The second example was done with faded washes (from dark to light). This image has more depth and is more interesting.

Our last example was done by using mixed washes. On the leaves, yellow, green and blue colours were blended. This is the best way of working with watercolours; it keeps colours bright and shiny.
