Several examples
1) A robin in two different styles
In the following 2 examples, I will show you first the traditional way of using watercolours. You will learn the way to illuminate a detailed piece by applying colour to a design, which is the the most important thing. On the other hand, a similar piece in theme and colour. However, this time, we will use watercolours as paints in their purest state; in a free and loose manner.
I start by drawing the robin with simple and geometric lines.
Once all the shapes fit, I draw details, volumes, and shadows.
