Mixed techniques:Ink and watercolours
Watercolours are easily used combined with many other colouring tools.
I'm going to make a picture using chinese ink and colouring it with watercolours. The contrast with the deep black from the ink causes the watercolours to stand out.
I start with a sketch.
I improve the drawing (it doesn't matter if it's not clean since we will erase every guideline later).
I will use black chinese ink. You must make sure this ink is WATERPROOF once it is dry. If not, when we apply the watercolours, it will run.
