PARAGRAPH FORMAT
To apply or change the format of a paragraph in Word, we must locate the paragraph section in the toolbar; it is located in the Home tab and it has the following appearance:
Steps to change text alignment:
1. Highlight the paragraph we wish to apply format to:
Let's see our toolbar. As you can see, it is set to be aligned to the left.
2. If we want to, we can change the alignment of the paragraph. We can click on the centre text icon.
As you can see, our text has been centred horizontally in our worksheet.
3. If we want to align our text to the right, click on the Align Text Right icon.
Now, the paragraph will be aligned to the right. Notice how the phrases begin from right to left.
4. Generally, we use the Justify function to present text. This aligns our written text between our left and right margins adding any necessary spaces. This option presents a more homogeneous text which is better distributed between both margins.
