Diorama
of Phantom F-4K
(English Version of the Phantom F-4J)
Below you
can see my model of the Phantom F-4K plane in the scale of 1:48. This
is the British version of the well known American Navy plane F4-J.
This diorama has been carried out in a similar way to the previous
ones. However, one thing is slightly different, the grass has been
made with artifical grass (you can buy it in model shops). So that
it looks real, I add very fine small green pieces. Then I paint the
surface where I am going to add the earthy grass, I allow it to dry
and then I get a brush and add glue which has been diluted with water.
Now I "sprinkle" the grass onto the scene. Wait for it to
dry, and you will see that everything is perfectly glued to the earth.
Now paint it a dark green colour. Once dry add a dry brush with different
tones: ochre, yellow, white, this is done so that the grass looks
different colours.
