THE SUNFLOWER: THE CENTRE OF THE FLOWER (3)

 

Add brown paint to the brush. Paint the centre of the flower with small strokes, where previously we had added green.

 

Here you can see the centre of the flower. If you want you can add some more dark paint (e.g. earthy brown) to the left zone, to give a greater contrast.

If you haven’t got the result that you wanted, let the painting dry and paint over the top: it will give the painting more volume (not a bad thing).
