THE
SUNFLOWER: RE-PAINTING THE BACKGROUND
The background
has to go with the flowers, therefore once we have painted the flower
we need to adjust the background tones. Now we are going to make a
colour using transparent earthy pink, ochre and green.
At the
moment the stalk is practically the same colour as the background.
To differentiate, use the mixture of paint that we made previously
(transparent earthy pink, ochre and green) and paint close to the
stalk to make it stand out. Add a little more shadow to the main leaf.
