THE
SUNFLOWER: THE LEAVES
Have a
look at how the drawing is looking: from time to time stop and look
at the drawing to see how it is going.
We have
drawn another leaf from behind, we are now going to paint this leaf,
add dull green paint to the brush and paint using small brush strokes.
Adding
a small amount of dark green to the dull green we make it darker.
With this colour we are going to paint a small amount of the supper
part of the leaf, indicating the shade that the sunflower creates.
With the leaf that is on its side we have widened the dark part and
we have given it a stem.
