Fundamental
values of self-esteem
a) What
we are worth
It has
been proved that if we want, we are capable of improving, learning
and progressing in all directions.
We are
all potential geniuses, according to the environment or field that
motivates or interests us; we have the possibility to start being
a genius at any moment or stage in our life.
b) Our
importance
We are
all unique; we need to be conscious of how important we are, this
means we have to realize that as we are being human beings created
with a likeness to God, we have the capacity to make a difference
not only in our lives but also with our relationships with others.
c) Our
responsibility
What
we are worth and how important we are doesn’t only make us
what we are, it implies our capacity and disposition to assume the
responsibility of our growth, evolution, how we act in life and
the results that we achieve. Being responsible means we are capable
of creating situations that allow us to act in a beneficiary way
for ourselves and for others. If we know that we are important,
that we are worth something and that we are able to do things, we
will act from a space of freedom, autonomy and we will act with
responsibility.
