Generally, Embroidery renders a personal seal when decorating garments or household objects. These small details make our home unique and personal.
A simple embroidered flower gives a higher value to that simple piece of clothing, quilt or any other surface.
We should bear in mind that to embroider it to decorate, thus, knowing the name and the way we execute a specific stitch can be employed to achieve beautiful pieces of art.
There is a large quantity of stitches in Embroidery. Some are basic ones and others are variants. Some adopt the name from the place where they were originally created or a place where they are famous, for example Rhodes Stitch, Malt Stitch, Assisi Stitch , etc.
Whenever we carry out any type of task, besides the necessary technical knowledge, we need to consider the materials we will use. In the next lesson, we will give you a list of the materials we will use in this course.
