Festoon Stitch and its variants. (Continued)

Festoon Stitch variants.

Festoon stitch in Waves with summits (Or peaks). Before we begin the Embroidery, we sketch the waves we want to embroider.

Then, we begin embroidering backstitch or bastille rows in the entire area where the Festoon will go. This will help add some highlight for this stitch.

We begin by executing the stitch starting from the left end following the line of the trace. Once we reach the highest outer part of the curve we insert the needle in the last Festoon Stitch we have made and we pull the thread until we get a ring. In this ring we have made, we embroider small Festoon Stitches trying not to touch the fabric beneath. Once we are done embroidering, the ring will look like a small peak or summit. We continue embroidering the Festoon until we finish the wave. We repeat the same step in each wave in which we want this variant.
